Siberian Cold Front Brings Snow to Istanbul; School Closes for 8 days

A snowstorm brings three days of snow to Istanbul with school closing for a whole week. And then, the following week brings more snow, school is closed again for three days. More fun for the Tummons kids and our neighbors that live in the apartments above us!

Our house in Karanfildere (it means "Clove River" and the river used to run where our van is parked) is blanketed in white snow!

Look at all that snow! Wow! I remember one of those snowstorms duing my time there. It was so much fun. All my neighbors acted like kids, throwing snowballs at each other. It was very funny.

Great to see pics of the Tummons crew. You all look marvelous!

Hope you are doing great!

That's awesome! We got 1/4 inch of sleet and they closed interstate and all major roads in Shreveport! I still had to work though...just got there late. The green van still runs!?
